Find by Clap helps you locate your phone using audio triggers. When the App detects certain sounds, it can activate signals that make your device easier to find.

Key capabilities include, among others:

• Detect claps, whistles, or other configured trigger sounds through your device’s microphone and start a find‑my‑phone response.
• Turn on the flashlight to create a visual cue that helps you spot your phone.
• Provide a free, ad‑supported experience, plus optional premium features (such as removing ads) available via subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play.

2.User Eligibility

1. The App is intended for people who are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you may not download or use the App.
2. By using the App, you confirm that you can legally accept these Terms and that you will follow them.

3.Permissions

To provide its main functionality, Find By Clap needs access to certain system permissions on your device. These permissions are used only for the purposes described below.

Microphone Permission

• Used to detect claps, whistles, or other audio triggers so the App can initiate phone‑finding actions.

Camera / Flashlight Permission

• Used to control your device’s flashlight to display visual alerts that help you locate your phone.

Important Information:

• The App does not record, save, or upload raw audio or camera content from your device.
• Sound detection and flashlight control are performed on your device and are not sent to our servers.
• If you decline or later revoke these permissions, some core features may be limited or unavailable.

4.Subscriptions and Payments

1. You may choose to subscribe to premium features in Find by Clap (for example, ad‑free use or other enhancements) through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play, depending on your device.
2. All purchases, billing, renewals, and subscription management are handled by Apple or Google (as applicable). We do not receive or store your payment card details.
3. Refunds and billing adjustments are governed by the policies of the store you used (Apple App Store or Google Play). Please refer to that store’s official refund rules and instructions.

5.Advertising Services

The free version of the App may display ads using third‑party ad partners. These partners may process non‑identifying information to show and measure advertisements.

This information can be used for purposes such as:

• Show more relevant ads based on non‑identifying signals and general usage patterns.
• Measure ad delivery and engagement at an aggregated level.
• Improve how ads are served so the experience is smoother and less repetitive.

Ad partners may use cookies, mobile identifiers, or similar technologies to collect anonymous or pseudonymous data. We recommend reviewing each provider’s privacy policy to learn more about their practices.

6.User Conduct

When you use Find by Clap, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

• Use the App in a way that violates laws, regulations, or the rights of others.
• Disrupt, attack, or attempt to bypass the security or normal operation of the App or related services.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, copy, or attempt to access the App’s code or systems without authorization.

If we reasonably believe these rules have been violated, we may suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion, with or without notice where permitted by law.

7.Intellectual Property

1. The App and its content—such as code, design, logos, icons, text, and other materials—belong to the App operator or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
2. Unless we give you written permission, you may not reproduce, modify, translate, distribute, display, sell, license, or otherwise use any part of the App or its content for commercial or non‑commercial purposes.

8.Privacy Policy

2. The App is designed so microphone detection and flashlight actions run locally on your device and are not sent to our servers.

9.Disclaimer

1. The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not make promises or warranties about performance, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
2. We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, or data loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including network issues or device problems.
3. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages related to your use of (or inability to use) the App.

10.Modifications and Termination

1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will take effect once posted in the App or on this page. Please check back occasionally.
2. If you do not accept an update, you must stop using the App. Continuing to use the App after changes are effective means you accept the updated Terms.

11.Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the country or region where you live, unless mandatory local laws require otherwise.
2. If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first to try to resolve it informally. If that does not work, either party may bring the matter to a court with appropriate jurisdiction in your local area.
